Thanks Sere, Shere, Kere, for the idea.

I always dig cooking tutorials, I really do! =P

I also think that reading cooking books, tutorials... etc, improve your capacity on gaining new words and knowledge.

Lemon-Roasted Sea Bass with Clams

Cooking Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. In a large skillet, cook the onions and fennel seeds in the olive oil over medium-high heat until the onions are almost translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook another 3 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a large roasting pan. Scatter the tomatoes and thyme over the onions.

2. Lay the fish out on a work surface. Make 3 large diagonal cuts on each side of the fish to allow for even cooking. Season the fish generously with salt and pepper, inside and out, top and bottom.

3. Transfer the fish to the roasting pan, arranging it on top of the tomato and onion mixture. Pour the wine into the pan. Arrange the lemon slices across the top of the fish and sprinkle evenly with the chili powder. Roast the fish for 10 minutes, then arrange the clams around the fish. Continue roasting until the clams open and the fish is cooked through, 25 to 30 minutes more.l

Gestures develop infant speech

Toddlers who use gestures more often have better vocabularies on reaching school age, US researchers say
They say those who convey more meanings with gestures at 14 months have larger vocabularies at four-and-a-half years and are better prepared for school

Parents and teachers could help children learn to speak by encouraging the use of gestures, say psychologists from the University of Chicago
Their study, in Science journal, was announced at the AAAS conference
'Hand-in-hand'
The researchers found that children from higher-income families with well-educated parents used more gestures as toddlers

They also had higher vocabularies at school age
"Our findings contradict the folklore," said Prof Susan Goldin-Meadow, co-author on the study
"Your grandma always told you - if you're really articulate you shouldn't have to use your hands at all
"That's typically what the upper class believes about itself
"But our findings were surprising - we actually found extra gesturing in these high socio-economic status [SES] families
"Gesture and speech go hand-in-hand
"That's interesting and we need to explore what's happening here.
"Vocabulary is a key predictor of school success and is a primary reason why children from low-income families enter school at a greater risk of failure than their peers from advantaged families."

!A pill to fall in or out of love

New York, Feb 16: After the passion of Valentine's Day, here is some sobering news for lovers. Pop a love pill, and you are on

And pop an anti-love pill, you are done - without any lingering emotions

Scientists say it will soon be possible to fall in and out of love at whim - just like hopping into a bus and then getting off two stops later

They say that since falling in love is merely a chemical reaction in the human brain, a love pill may be invented soon to trigger this chemical reaction to make people in love

And then there could be an anti-love pill to make people fall out of love

According to an American neuro-scientist, researchers may soon find the right kind of chemical mixture to help people fall in and out of love

Fore more details ... source

So what kind of pill do u need ? To fall in or out ? will it be that easy hehehhe ?? who knows

?Sorry i had to leave out Punctuations, will be any possibe solution
U can call me Ducky

after using that pill to fall in love , i think we will need a pill to erase bad memories , see below

A widely available blood pressure pill could one day help people erase bad memories, perhaps treating some anxiety disorders and phobias, according to a Dutch study published on Sunday.
The generic beta-blocker propranolol significantly weakened people's fearful memories of spiders among a group of healthy volunteers who took it, said Merel Kindt

, a psychologist at the University of Amsterdam, who led the study. "We could show that the fear response went away, which suggests the memory was weakened," Kindt said in a telephone interview. The findings published in the journal Nature Neuroscience are important because the drug may offer another way to help people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and other problems related to bad memories. Traditionally, therapists seek to teach people with such disorders strategies to build new associations and block bad memories. The problem, Kindt said, is the memories remain and people often relapse. Animal studies have shown that fear memories can change when recalled, a process known as reconsolidation. At this stage they are also vulnerable to beta-blockers like propranolol, which target neurons in the brain, the researchers said.

Here I have disgusting news :

The man with the world's longest ear hair
It's important to have a goal in life. Indian grocer Radhakant Baijpai certainly has one - to make sure that he has the longest ear hair in the world.

Radhakant was crowned the official Guinness world record holder for the longest ear hair back in 2003, when his aural fronds were an already-impressive 13.2cm long. But that didn't stop him pursuing his goal of ever-longer hair on his ears.

After several more years of carefully cultivating and caring for the ear-hair, Radhakant's tufts now stretch an astonishing 25cm. He is now waiting for Guinness adjudicators to confirm that he has set a new high, hairy bar for his chosen field.

Radhakant, from Uttar Pradesh in northern India, acknowledges that his wife has, at times, wished that he would cut his ear hair off - but he says that she has agreed to let him keep it, as it is a source of pride.

His 25-year-old son is already displaying signs of growing similar ear-hair - although only time will tell if the son can eventually take the place of the father, standing triumphant atop the pinnacle of human ear-hair achievement.

Ignorance over diet cancer risk

Four out of 10 people are unaware eating a poor diet increases the risk of cancer, a new study suggests.

The poll of almost 2,000 people found 41% were unaware of the link between their diet and the disease.

And only one in three people knew processed meat increased cancer risks, while 44% did not know being overweight was another risk factor.

The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF), which commissioned the survey, said further cancer education was needed.

'Simple steps'

The survey also found less than half of those surveyed - 44% - knew that exercise and an active lifestyle also cut the risk of cancer.

Lisa Cooney, head of education for the WCRF said: "The scientific evidence is clear that people can reduce their risk of cancer through eating healthily and reducing their intake of things like alcohol and processed meat.

"But these results show that there are still millions of people in Britain who are unaware of how they can take simple steps to reduce their cancer risk.

"This means they are not in a position to make informed lifestyle choices."

WORLD'S FIRST HOUSE BUILT OF BOOKS

Monday February 16,2009

AN ITALIAN artist has built a house made entirely of books.

Everything in Livio De Marchi's 'Bookhouse' is shaped like a novel, from the dining table and chairs to the winding staircase.

The literary home, which is the first of it's kind, even has a pair of reading glasses and colouring pencils as a gate.

The creator, Livio De Marchi, said he decided to construct the bizarre wooden home after he was fed up of being on the same page as everyone.

He told the Austrian Times: "I just allowed my inner fantasy world to run free and carved from the wood what I saw inside myself."
